Sports Assistant FTC (would suit graduate or 3rd year student)

We seek to appoint a full-time Sports Assistant on an 11-month fixed-term contract from 1st September 2025 to 31st July 2026. This role would suit a Graduate looking to explore a role within the Teaching Profession or a University Student in their 3rd year of a 4-year degree, subject to passing their 2nd year.
Applicants will preferably have knowledge of rules and umpiring and personal experience of participating in at least one of the following sports: football, cricket, rugby or netball.
The ideal candidate will inspire enthusiasm and confidence in our students, and will be an excellent communicator and a team player. They are also keen to share ideas with colleagues, committed to lifelong learning; and will:
- officiate and assist in the teaching of sport across all age groups;
- have knowledge and/or experience of coaching would be advantageous.
Salary competitive, dependent on graduate/non-graduate, experience and whether accommodation is required as part of the salary package.
On-site accommodation (self-contained, one-bedroom flat) may be available as part of the remuneration package for the duration of the contract.
Due to the location of the School and lack of public transport, we strongly recommend applicants have a full driving licence and access to a car.
