Duke of Kent School

The Senior Production took a different turn this year as we moved away from the traditional school musical and produced a more serious, dramatic piece of theatre. Shakespeare's Macbeth can be a tricky play for children to work with, but our cast rose magnificently to the challenge. Superb performances from the main parts portrayed the dark and edgy nature of the play, with the feast being one of the most uncomfortable dinner parties I have ever attended!

The cast were aided in their performances by a modern and contemporary set, allowing them to bring the play into the 21st century, the whole being watched over by our three deranged witches in their tower.
